About Me
My work lives at the intersection of body and being. Through yoga, somatics and embodiment practices, I offer classes, ceremonies and immersive experiences for people ready to come home to themselves as they are. I also train yoga teachers, coaches and therapists who want to hold deeper, more embodied space for the people they work with.
I have been teaching for over fifteen years. Since 2016 I have trained over 150 people across a variety of shorter and longer yoga training courses. My qualifications span yoga therapy, psychology, coaching, conscious dance and somatic practice. But more than what I have studied, it is what I have lived, and continue to live, that informs how I show up in the room.
I believe...
Grief and joy are not opposites. They are both portals to the same aliveness.
The body is where you will find your truth and authenticity.
We are endlessly capable of renewal as we spiral through contraction and expansion
Every drop of desire, sadness, anger and resistance is an invitation to wholeness.
I am a mother to a small, fierce human who is teaching me daily what it means to be both fully present and fully myself. I am building a life where she sees both the joy and the difficulty, because I want her to know that they belong together.
I supplement my embodiment and yoga practices with pilates and functional fitness and really enjoy having my ass kicked.
I am a former chef who still loves to cook, but now mostly for people I love.
I have recently taken up serious gardening again and am experimenting with making fermented bio-char.
When I am not teaching or working, you will most likely find me in the ocean. I am becoming something of a mermaid enjoying cold water swimming, body boarding with my daughter, and very slowly learning to surf.
I am currently rereading all Terry Pratchett’s novels in character order.
